Declaration of Data Protection
All data processed and used by the Graphischer Klub Stuttgart e.V. is subject to the German Federal Data Protection Law (BDSG). Using data is permissible if allowed by this law or some other legal regulation, or if you have given your permission.
Validity of the Data Protection Declaration
Your agreement extends beyond completion of your participation in the various competitions, but ends with expiry of the legal retention period or your revocation (possible at any time).
An Example of Data Collection, Processing and Use
The Graphischer Klub Stuttgart e.V. collects and stores data necessary for participation in our competitions. This is primarily personal details (name, address, e-ddress, phone number and/or comparable data).
The Graphischer Klub Stuttgart e.V. may publish participants’ data and competition results online and in the press.
Essential Processing of your Data is, for example:
* Administration of participants’ data for information
* Running the website (via a hosting package of an external service provider)
* Publication of participants and photos on your own website
* Wage calculation for the assisting personnel (via an external service provider)
The decisive responsibility for processing your data in conformity with the law lies with the Graphischer Klub Stuttgart e.V.
You will know that despite all the measures to protect data, what is published online or in the press is downloadable in states whose data protection regulations are not comparable with Germany’s. Furthermore, there is no guarantee that this data will stay confidential, that the correctness of the content will continue, and that the data will not be changeable.
Your Right to Information
In accordance with the BDSG you are entitled to know what data is stored by the Graphischer Klub Stuttgart e.V.
The club does not need a data protection officer as only two board members have access to the data.
